This post comes with two caveats: 1) That the Hall & Oates/T.I./Amerie combo you’re about to see completely falls apart by the end, and 2) the “Hall & Oates is actually cool” retro-revival notion is pretty damn dated at this point. …..Even while I hated H&O, it was fun in school riding group to sing along when that song came on the radio, insert a “bitch girl” or two, and piss the parents off!
Sadly, the Hall & Oates is outdone is crappiness by the female vocal. Someone needs to teach people that if you are going to sample, you might want to sing in the same key as that which you are sampling.
