Stuck On Repeat: The Cover Girls’ “Show Me”

November 7th, 2006 // 6 Comments

showme.gifIt may be almost 20 years old, but the Cover Girls’ slick-shined “Show Me” is still a delicious slice of dance-pop. Featuring the Cover Girls’ original lineup of Angel Clivillés, Caroline Jackson, and Sunshine Wright, “Show Me” was their first foray into the charts, and it remains their best track, thanks in large part to the giant synth-wave rolling underneath its chorus.

Produced by one of the C’s in C&C Music Factory (Clivilles, Angel’s husband) years before they blew up. Worth noting….

  2. AcidReign

…..It’s one big advertisement for the Yamaha DX-7 synth, sounds like.
