Amerie is having a pretty good run lately: First, she reworks Ludacris and Lil’ Scrappy on a scorching-hot mixtape, then she puts out a video where she’s a double-agent charged with “eliminating” a corrupt senator. Alas, we don’t get to see Amerie do the deadly deed, but we do totally understand the clip’s parallel between being chased by the paparazzi while you’re trying to walk down the street and being chased by the paparazzi while you’re trying to carry out a hit.
