I love that, even as he lounges in the sun, shirt open and half-pulled up, he still has his sweater around his shoulders.

this was much-discussed in the UK music press at the time and when Our Favorite Shop was released and there were some magazines of similar content pictured on the sleeve, the media had a field day with it. but weller was already dating DC Lee by then, which helped it all subside.
All Style Council videos are ridiculous, try sitting through JerUSAlem.
It’s a great tune and anything that annoys the homophobic press was a bonus.
