What a difference 15 years make, no? That’s Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake (and a lot of hair gel) giving “I Wanna Sex You Up” a, uh, slightly more up-front–and generously Yuletide-themed–spin on this week’s Saturday Night Live. (We’d say more, but we don’t want to spoil it; we’re just happy that this clip replicates the obligatory singing-in-front-of-the-East River shot that so many videos from that era indulged in.)

I like this much better than anything that’s actually on Timberlake’s new album!
I am kinda surprised that they are singing “dick in a box” — I figured it was “cock in a box,” which just sounds better.
“Dick in a box” is funnier, though; “cock in a box” does sound better and so could plausibly be in an R&B song.
They nailed the look completely – the East River shots, the basketball court (proves that CMB or NKOTB or whoever is still “street”), the gold chains, the synchronized step moves, the ladies’ poured-on lip gloss and stoned-fawn stares. I half expect Gerardo or Stevie B. to walk in for a cameo.
I thought Andy was channeling CMB and JT became Jon B. before our very eyes.
