lookreallyexcited.jpgPapercuts is the stage name for Jason Quever, a San Francisco-based singer-songwriter who’s received some blogosphere nods in the past few months, thanks in no small part to his association with the implausibly beloved somnambulists Grizzly Bear. “John Brown” is the first single from Papercuts’ upcoming Can’t Go Back album, and it’s slow and spooky, with a great spaghetti-western opening:
