“While she was in the club she kept going to bathroom all the time, which was weird.”
Also to be fair to Weller, nothing in the article insinuates he hates Foxton or Buckler.
The article mainly states that Paul refuses to partake in a Jam reunion since they broke up. I mean, he was in his mid 20s when they broke up, right? Say what you want about his post-Jam work, but can you blame him?
OK, missed the part about doing Jam songs during his solo shows. Ixnay that last part of my post. [/emily latella]
When The Jam split Weller said he didn’t want it to mean nothing. They were a kids band and the older he became the less relevant they’d be.
The Police reforming will no doubt strengthen his opinion.
For the longest time he refused to play Jam songs at UK concerts (elsewhere he had no such problems) and said in interviews that it would be ridiculous singing about “Youth Explosion” at his age.
Think of him like Britain’s answer to Neil Young, bloody minded.
