It’s been a while, but we’re happy to announce that Pick Of The ‘Fork–our weekly feature in which readers are forced asked to determine which review was not published in Pitchfork–is back in rotation. We took some time off from the poll, and with good reason: Not only did the ‘Fork do away with their ripe-for-the-picking singles-review columns, but voter turnout was getting lower and lower with each installment, which we took as a sign that everyone had tired of our nitpicky nonsense. But after numerous requests, we’re reinstating it, and you can now look forward to it every two weeks.
After 8.4 Weeks, Pick Of The ‘Fork Is Back

“Baroque” has joined “ebullient” and “sun-drenched” in the Words I’m Sick Of Reading In Reviews Hall Of Fame.
How very guitar-driven of you to say that.
the first one is a little bit silly, I hope it’s the wrong one.
Sad to say it’s not the first tone. Very sad to say, that was from a real review that I sadly wasted minutes of my life reading…ugh.
Shoot, that would have been a better post after the tally. I’m an ass, sorry, need more coffee.
I use ebullient far too often I admit.
I voted for the third one.
You guys have gotten a lot better at this. Whether it’s to Idolator’s credit or to Pitchfork’s failings, I cannot be sure.
