Videodrone: Madonna Doesn’t Think You Know What Fashion Is
This ad for Madonna’s new clothing line at H & M may be tracksuit-free, but it does double as a game of “spot the references to older Madonna videos.” So far, we’ve picked out the whip from “Erotica,” the one-sided mirror from “Die Another Day,” the slobbering old Madge-worshiper from the end of “Open Your Heart,” and the “getting turned on by inanimate objects” scene of, well, take your pick. Here’s hoping that the paper-shredder scene in this ad is a precursor to a Sex sequel that’s comprised exclusively of scenes involving office products. (Just think about the sponsorship opportunities!)

I kinda love it. The (Slap!) “I love you” scene is my new favorite thing. I still won’t shop at H&M though.
