Wow, sad news on Delp. I hope Richard Jeni is cracking him up with a standup bit someplace right now.
The AP reports that Delp did himself in by sealing himself in his bathroom with two charcoal grills. That seems like a bizarre and labor intensive way to do it. He was in a rock band; couldn’t he have just overdosed on painkillers or something?
Wow that’s very weird….and he would have had plenty of time to reconsider as he lugged those grills into place.
Very sad.
