Stuck On Repeat: Justice Keeps The B.E.A.T. Going

April 3rd, 2007 // 4 Comments

justice.jpgJustice‘s “B.E.A.T. (Extended Version)” has been burning up the Hype Machine charts for the last few days, and with good reason: It’s basically a longer version of the group’s maniacally happy French-pop hit “D.A.N.C.E.,” only with even more upbeatness. It’s all but impossible to be sucked in by this song’s charms, which is why we expect to played to death, “One More Time”-style, by mid-May or so:

Thanks to you guys posting it weeks and weeks ago, I’ve been listening to “D.A.N.C.E.” nonstop since February sometime. That and Muscles’s “Ice Cream” are the two best underground-pop tracks you’ve turned me on to this year.

This is going to sound retarded…but thank god French filter-disco is making a come back. I think it’s time to bust out the ol’ Bob Sinclair records.

Who are they supposed to be in this picture?!?

Oh, that’s NOT Gnarls Barkley doing another wacky twosome? Oh.

I thought maybe it was supposed to be Vincent Gallo and Gregg Araki.

This is basically the best thing I’ve ever heard.
