The game-over on iTunes subscriptions came the minute Jobs dropped the anti-DRM essay. Subscription models, by their very nature, require DRM. If Jobs is trying to move to a DRM-free model, the subscriptions negotiation is instantly dead in the water.&lt;/p&gt;
