Last night’s episode of The Sopranos [REDACTED] [REDACTED] gunplay, and [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED], and we’re guessing we’ll never see that character again. Still, it felt strange when [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] shot [REDACTED]. And poor [REDACTED]! Anyway, at least the show is still making good use of its closing-credit music, as right after [REDACTED], an instrumental version of Tindersticks’ “Running Wild” was used to [REDACTED] effect. Unfortunately, we only have the version of vocals, but we think it works anyway:
Tindersticks – Running Wlld (Album Version) [MP3, link expired]

I can’t wait for next week, but at the same time, I don’t want it to come. It’s the end! Sigh.
I thought it didn’t fit at first. The looming shot of the closed door and the stabs made it sound like there was gonna be some Halloween-style slasher shit. Like a cat was gonna run in and then–whew just a cat. But once the song kicked in everything was all good.
a song gets played on a tv show and idolator is there to let you know. thanks idolator.
6 days left…….. :(
This is what I always do:
- Watch Sopranos
- OMG x 1000 times
- Go to HBO.com
- Go to Episode Music
- P2P
I liked the song for the episode 84….. Ninna Ninna :D
The Tindersticks and Sopranos have always gone together like peanut butter and jelly.
I had a daydream just now that the whole show closed with “Let Me Go” by Heaven 17.
Or “Monday Morning 5:19″ by Rialto.
“a song gets played on a tv show”
Srsly, I know it’s hard, but thank you for not spoiling…I’m at least a week away from watching the episode with my fellow obsessive friends…
Their use of Tiny Tears was sublime.
The instrumental was on the My Oblivion EP
Here it is, all 14 minutes of it:

I’m so glad to see people caring about tindersticks. To me, they put out at least two of the top 20 albums of the 90s in their first two self-titled albums. I like the National and all, but I feel like they can’t match tindersticks in ambition or breadth. Hell, I don’t think anybody can. Truly staggering achievements.
Thank you so much, Breliant. Great song.
Don’t read Gawker, those douchebags spoiled it while calling out the NY Post for spoiling it.
Any chance of someone uploading the instrumental version again? the yousendit has exceeded it’s download limit!
