Internet Renders Vintage Publicity Shots Even More Hilarious Than Normal

June 5th, 2007 // 15 Comments

upgradeu.jpgThose of you who are fans of the seemingly inexhaustible LOLcats meme and vintage publicity shots will probably geek the eff out at this I Love Music thread, in which publicity photos from years gone by are put through the Internet wringer and turned into semi-incomprehensible placards that, for some reason, still make us giggle hysterically. Our favorite from today, which was sent to us by a former guestblogger/LOLcat enthusiast, is at right; if you do happen to take the time and create your own, feel free to post a link in the comments section. (Bonus points if you make a joke about Pretty Boy Floyd–or, for that matter, Pretty Ricky, or Pretty Poison, or all three.)

    Thread contains LULZ.

My favorite so far is the Bobby Brown Perogative one, but there are several other great ones.

Undoubtedly, the Cocteaus one is the best.
