Is there anything more annoying than a smug white guy–be he critic or comedian–thinking it’s funny to do a deadpan recital/analysis of hip-hop lyrics? First it was the Village Voice’s breakdown of Mims’ “This Is Why I’m Hot”, and now there’s this smuggy recital of T-Pain’s “Buy U A Drank.” Such a hilarious and timely discovery! Next you’ll be telling jokes about Spuds MacKenzie and how Dan Quayle might be kind of stupid.

I actually have the Alanis Humps mp3, but more for the reminder that _anything_ can be Alanis-ized than for the humor.
I would only be “down” with Chris if he did that stuff while tan, shirtless, and penis-gagged (kids, consult your local bdsm/leather shop). It wouldn’t be funny, but it would be more watchable.
