ClearChannel just owns the billboard plate, fwiw. There could be a Kill Whitey billboard in its place next week, and ClearChannel’s logo will still be proudly atop it, as long as they get paid.

Pflager’s a longtime gadfly here in Chicago–a white priest in a heavily African-American Catholic Church who has declared himself something of a bastion of decency. The press release about the billboards is available at St. Sabina’s website:

The fact that the website of the church so prominently features press releases of this sort should give you a good estimation of just the kind of crusader Pfleger is.

That sampling seems so random that it only could’ve come out of a white priest brainstorming session.

If I didn’t actually have constructive things to do, I would hassle them about being racist and sexist for not including Eminem, say, or Kelis, whose “Fuck Them Bitches” has the relatively straightforward thesis implied by the title.
