The “Worst Mixtape Cover Of The Year” Race Gets A Martyr Complex

remy1.jpgThe best thing about the art for Remy Ma’s new mixtape? Its title provided us with a disgusted–yet still punny!–interjection to utter when we were trying to figure out just what, exactly, the rejected cover concepts could have been.

Blasphemy Is Cool [Nah Right]

  1. Ned Raggett

    I’ve seen worse van art.

  2. Chris Molanphy

Wow, I’m offended and aroused at the same time – thanks, ReMa!

  3. Adam Bernard

Well “Jesus Christ” is what I mutter every time I hear her come on the radio and reach to change the station.

  4. DigitalLogic

@Adam Bernard: People still listen to the radio?

  5. Ahh! Jim lad!

Quite possibly my favorite album cover of all time. They’re usually so boring and generic, but… This one comes across as totally cool.

  6. Hyman Decent

    Any relation to Yo-Yo Ma?

    What, too obvious?

  7. joshservo

Cut to Steve Stoute putting on a football helmet: “I know I didn’t have anything to do with this, but just in case…”

  8. Adam Bernard

@DigitalLogic: only because I’m on it twice a week (but I’m on community radio, so I get cut some slack, right?)
