A New Zealand politician (who just happens to be up for re-election) is trying to get an upcoming Ice Cube concert shut down for objectionable content. While I would never claim that the guy who recorded “Black Korea” should be given a free pass for his lyrics, if people are going to try and ban Cube for anything these days, it should be for those inescapable TV ads for Are We Done Yet?. I think the third movie in the series should be called Are We Dead Yet? It would probably be about his family’s hilarious escape from Purgatory, but really it would just be the question the audience would be asking themselves every five minutes.
