The not-a-reunion-but-the-name’s-the-same edition of Van Halen is rumored to be appearing at the MTV Video Music Awards. Between this and the chatter about a Britney Spears performance opening the show, it’s probably for the best that MTV is only planning on broadcasting this thing once. (Can someone tell me the best place to buy bourbon in bulk? Because I really need to stock up starting now.)

I surprised Eddie didn’t make MTV crop Mike Anthony out of that picture and replace him with Wolfgang, who would have been, like, four years old at the time.
I think Mike Anthony should be replaced in every old picture with a picture of Wolfgang on that date, just to show how ridiculous this thing is. And by ridiculous, I totally mean “worth the $150 the single ticket is going to cost me”.
