I don’t know why Danzig chatting about his silly occult books in a creepy phone sexin’ voice is so weirdly compelling totally fuckin’ hilarious. (A friend: “I seriously want to know why it looks like Danzig’s library is poolside.”) While it’s possibly old news, this clip is about the only thing that’s made me smile all week.

This is actually a piece of a DANZIG home video collection that I had on VHS in high school. The hilarity doesn’t stop at the library, either. Glenn plays an unamplified Les Paul (“If I told you what I was thinking right now, they’d lock me up” or something like that). Then all of his evil evilishness is juxtaposed with Chuck Biscuits (ex-D.O.A., then DANZIG) complaining about unsugared cereal.
i seriously want to know why anyone would assume anything OTHER than glen danzig’s library is poolside? it all adds up to me.
This is my favorite thing ever.
He should his master’s degree in “evil”, it sounds like he’s already done the required reading, if not the course work.

of course he reads us passages that have to do with killing kids. ‘that’s pretty cool’.
if my memory serves me right, this is from the Danzig home video (the first one), i used to watch this in ad naseum in H.S. to make fun of the Chuck Biscuts part..he draws those fuzzy green guys flipping you off, and it seems to amuse him, like grizzly bear would be amused with a dead baby.
Oh BTW…NORTHSIDE KINGS ARE UNDEFEATED!!
