Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell made an excessively perky appearance on the morning show GMTV today, during which she gushed about chatting on the phone with Emma Bunton, the fact that she, like me, is a fake redhead, and how the reunion has been so totally amazing because all the Spice Girls bond over being mothers, because apparently “Girl Power” is now “the power to sing the chorus of ‘Stop’ at your children when they stick their hands in the cookie jar without asking.” Two disturbing revelations, too: one, the new Spice Girls single–out next month–is going to be a big ballad (noooo), and two, the reason that one should buy tickets to the upcoming Spice Girls show is the fact that they are fairly priced. Is that code for “please come see us, because we’re about to miss a payment on the Union Jacked double-decker bus?” Uh oh.

Ms. Halliwell is certainly more Kelly Ripa-esque than that stoic host.
It’s not a double-decker bus they’ve got this time; I believe they’ve leased a Boeing jet.
SEVENTY FIVE ENGLISH POUNDS (oh, about $88748576, based on this morning’s rates) is not my definition of fairly priced…
