Idolator At CMJ: Bring On The Blog-Rock

All week, Idolator will be bringing you front-line coverage of all the “bands you’ll soon be sick of hearing about” as we swarm this year’s CMJ Music Marathon. Myself, Maura, and Idolator videographer Alex Goldberg will all be out observing the habits of the A&R men in trainingour fellow bloggers, checking out as many bands as possible (whether overhyped, complete unknowns, or Alter Bridge), and hopefully getting into as much mischief as we can squeeze into five days. Meanwhile, special correspondent Ryan Catbird will be in the trenches at CMJ’s panels. We’re still processing which of the bazillion shows and “parties” we’ll be attending, and so if you know of anything that will be particularly off-the-hook, or embarrassing, or that features a band that represents the future of music (for the next four months), please drop us a line: tipsATidolatorDOTcom.
