Not content with letting Lollapalooza promotion company C3 stake a three-day festival claim in Philadelphia, Live Nation has petitioned the city’s Fairmount Park Commission for a -palooza of its own. Am I the only person who thinks that, by this time next year, every one of the fifty states–including Alaska and Hawaii!–will have a big multi-day puke-and-beer-fueled get-together to call its own?
