Get those prostate checkups, fellas. Don’t forget to keep it entertaining by making little happy noises during the exam.
How are Seals and Croft doing?
Dan looks like a member of Band of Horses in that pic.
I’m surprised the obits I’ve seen so far fail to mention his Yacht/Smooth Rock classic, “Longer” — by far his most-played radio hit. It’s playing right now in the elevator taking Dan down to hell.
Anytime I hear Fogelberg’s name I think of that Denis Leary bit about suicidal kid’s parents suing Judas Priest. He says, ” I should have sued Dan Fogelberg. Between him and James Taylor I didn’t get a blowjob until I was 25.”
@disinterested 3rd party: “…and as I turned to make my way back home/the snow turned into rain.” Still a heartbreaker, damn the cheese factor.
RIP, Danny boy.
@dennisobell: Meanie BoBeanie.
Was Fogelberg cheesy? Hell, yes. But is he going to Hell? Heck, no. He’s the man who made it okay to pointlessly wallow in self-serving nostalgia!
Sound familiar, any hipster in the 25-to-35-year-old range who’s ever casually dropped a “Thundercats” reference?
