ONEFIVE-LISTEN VERDICT: I know that usually this space should be reserved for a mannered, critical-ish riff on the song, but "Dig," which is the title track from the upcoming album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, has basically paralyzed my brain in such a way that all I can say is: "It's awesome and you should listen to it now." OK OK a thumbnail description: It's got a bit of a hip-swively beat, it's got Nick ranting about what he has said is the creepiest miracle that Jesus Christ performed, and it's got what sounds like a barroom full of Bad Seeds on backing vocals. Do you think I could play this at Christmas without freaking out my family? Probably not, I guess?
