When employees of Jamaica's Public Broadcasting Corporation went trawling through the archives of the now-defunct Jamaican Broadcasting Cororation. they noticed the "possible theft of thousands of vinyl records and compact discs" from the 1970s and beyond, such as "original recordings by reggae greats Bob Marley and Peter Tosh." Given how often master tapes and original vinyl pressings were recycled by thrifty JA labels during the era, this could potentially be a major loss for reggae historians and fans. [Billboard]
