On the one hand, Soulja Boy's joy-sapping combo of viciously unengaging monotone flow and viciously amelodic Nth-gen snap synths reaches an irritating/inspid peak on the new "Yahhh!" On the other hand, if I was in sixth grade and on a wicked sugar high right now I'd totally be running around my neighborhood annoying everyone by shouting that one awesome "blargadahahayahh!"* noise in the chorus over and over again.

Dude. This is where hip-hop has come around too, sounding like fucking Timmy and The Destroyers or whatever. "TIMMY TIMYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
=( I'm going back to my hug-box.
i'm 19 and i annoy everyone by shouting that one awseome "blargadhahayahh!" noice in the chorus over and over again.
anyway i think this song is genuinely hilarious.
I'm loving the Dog the Bounty Hunter dig.
Is there anything in the laws of thermodynamics about horrifically fucking idiotic something can get, or is it like absolute zero?
@Tenno:
Timmah was more gangtsa than Soulja Boy, sadly.
i feel stupider for watching that. thanks, idolator.
I take it all back. Soulja Boy is a genius. Also, his "throw some Ds" remix is better than Kanye's.
Howard Dean?
A: omg i heard soulja boy got shot yesterday!
B: holy sh*t! who shot him?
A: YOOOOOOOOUUUUUU
@katie_a_princess: brilliant
Soulja Boy, what you've just said is one of the most insanely, idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point, in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the world is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul. (word to Billy Madison)
The Tazmanian Devil's influence on vocal styles of the late 20th century and early 21st has long been underrated, but I think with this song he's finally going to get the recognition he deserves.

The video looks like Fred Schneider's "Monster"

I'm sure some folks have seen this by now, but if not let's all take a minute to Yank Dat Camel Toe.

oh god that made me laugh so hard I think I'm tearing up a bit.
Gotta take issue with the headline... There's only life after Yooooouuuuu in the sense that there's AD & BC. New song is kinda terrible, but faulting Soulja Boy for his follow-up singles being average is pretty much pointless, surely. He was born to do one great, generation-defining thing, and having done it we've no right to ask anything more of the dude.
