Panic At The Disco: Glad To Be Gay (If They Were Gay)

panicccccccc.jpgShortly after the removal of that phallic exclamation point from their band name, members of Max Factor ad emo band Panic At The Disco told Out magazine that, while they really belong to the Adam Ant tradition of straight guys who dig dressing in 19th-century admiral’s jackets, they’re still willing to be ambiguous on stage for fun and profit: “Band interaction, I guess, can sometimes be confused for homosexuality. But it’s not, in our case.” This interview coincidentally comes on the heels of the news that PATD’s upcoming tour would ditch the stilt-walkers and fire-breathers in favor of a Hollywood Squares-themed stage show.
