ticketsnow.gifFollowing Live Nation’s announcement that it plans to get into the secondary ticket market once it breaks free from its Ticketmaster contract, Ticketmaster has acquired TicketsNow, which boasts that it’s second only to StubHub as far as its don’t-call-it-scalping marketshare goes, for $265 million. Not that I have any pull with Ticketmaster’s muckety-mucks, but I’m hoping that someone over there decides to change TicketsNow’s slogan. “The power of in”? I weep for the English language. [WSJ]
