The all-female-rapper sequel to ego trip’s The (White) Rapper Show–which brought the world the vertically integrated stylings of John Brown, for better or worse–is going to premiere on VH1 in April. Unfortunately, the powers that be decided to stage ego trip’s Miss Rap Supreme in Los Angeles, and not the South Bronx; fortunately, MC Serch is going to be assisted in his hosting duties by Yo-Yo. We’d better see a Persia cameo in there! [ProHipHop; photo Nikola Tamindzic]

a friend of a friend auditioned for this show. she said that serch wasn’t all pleasant. apparently the producers were looking more for women who were willing to make themselves look ridiculous. imagine that.
that said, i CAN’T WAIT for this show. T(W)RS was one of my favorites. hallelujah holla back, y’all.
I have it on good authority that persia will make an appearance.
I will now await secutiry to escort me out of the building.
After one episode of TWRS one of my friends turned to me and said “this is like the first ever white minstril show. I guess you finally know what it feels like.” Yeah, it sucked and I can’t believe Serch is doing it again.
Aesop Rock we need you to comment on this!
Ghetto Revival! I’m so excited for this…
