Ringo Starr has added to recent rumours that the Rolling Stones are planning a World tour to coincide with their 50th anniversary. The drummer was questioned in an interview with Spinner to whether if he thinks a Rolling Stones reunion would be a good idea.

    I don’t think this necessarily has to do with pissiness–the Stones have been shifting the rights of their catalogue from label to label as their contracts allow for years now.

    And while they are at it, how about some state-of-the-art remastering for the post-’71 stuff. I thought the ABKCO remasters were top drawer. It’s only R&R but I like it….
