I don’t think this necessarily has to do with pissiness–the Stones have been shifting the rights of their catalogue from label to label as their contracts allow for years now.
And while they are at it, how about some state-of-the-art remastering for the post-’71 stuff. I thought the ABKCO remasters were top drawer. It’s only R&R but I like it….
