Jean-Bernard Levy, the chief executive of Universal Music Group parent company Vivendi, doesn’t think that things in the music business are as bad as they seem–especially since his company’s operating margins are better than ever. Also, he thinks that CD sales will still be key to the music business going forward, that DRM is something worthy of being “strongly attached to,” and that every man, woman, and child on Earth should get a pony to call their very own, unless they download music illegally.
