This Velocity Girl set from 1996 is light on the Copacetic-era material, but it does include "Audrey's Eyes," which has one of my favorite guitar-counterpoint lines of all time, and "Drug Girls" from the not as good as its predecessor but still underrated ¡Simpatico!. [The Sound Of Indie]

sweet, sweet sarah shannon.
One of those albums I'll never get rid of. Shame about ¡Simpatico!. I don't know if I listened to that one more than 5 times.
If they were playing with Fuzzy, I'm 90 percent sure this would have been spring 1996.
i remember seeing velocity girl and chisel at the metro in chicago circa april 1996. not sure if fuzzy was on the bill as well.
I hated Simpatico when I first heard but it slowly grew on me, so much so that I think I prefer it over Copacetic.
I remember the last time I saw them they covered 'Bring On The Dancing Horses' and 'Your Silent Face.'
Saw them open for Sugar, I was definitely glad I showed up on time.
Copacetic could be great if the production weren't so lousy. I prefer Simpatico. Actually, Gilded Stars and Zealous Hearts is pretty good too.
