Kylie Minogue’s clip for “Wow” looks like it’s set at the hippest sci-fi convention ever, with her Star Wars-inspired outfit and the general populace of her dance club of choice resembling various spcies of droids and slithery things. (Let’s just chalk up the scene shot in night vision that is apparently powerful enough to turn her into Natasha Bedingfield to an on-site experiment gone awry.) The song is a delight, too, with a vocodery chorus of raining “wow”s and a bouncy electro beat that should, at the very least, fire up the crowd at sipping cocktails Quark’s. @Tenno: That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Maura, what do you think of the video for “In My Arms”?
That was amazing. Just killer. Absolutely killer. Well done.
Well yeah, they’re used to weird and surprising noises from me anyways; somedays it’s Micheal Jackson, other days it’s Merzbow.
Star Wars. Daft Punkish Video. Kylie Minogue. New Single. This gay is pleased…
That sounds like it was made on a Casio keyboard circa-1987.
Man, the lame filter disco shit has to end now. I love Kylie but ugh.
If Kylie was singing for Merzbow, I might be interested.
Plus Masami Akita dancin’ around in latex would be amusing.
@Plague: If PETA has their way, it just might happen.
“I love that way that chew moo?”
I don’t get it.
Boo on compression. I really love this song, though. Probably my favorite on the album.
@dowdydiva: Hahaha!
That is the loudest video in the world Maura. Now the whole office understands my interest in Kylie.
