Have you ever wondered exactly how a commercial for Real World/Road Rules Challenge set to “I Against I” would break your brain? Well, next week is your chance to find out: Bad Brains will be the next featured artist in MTV’s 52/52 Bands promotion, the channel’s new way of promoting musicians without actually adding said musicians’ videos to rotation. Instead, Bad Brains songs will score MTV’s commercials and PSAs, and the performance clips that will air during commercial breaks will singlehandedly raise the average age of musicians featured on the channel by about five years.
