The UPN spinoff network MyNetworkTV, which was previously most well-known for trying to drag English-speaking Americans into the world of telenovelas, has ordered 13 episodes of the sitcom Under One Roof, which is currently in production in Toronto and which features Flavor Flav as an ex-con who moves in with his rich older brother. Hilarity, of course, ensues, in the form of Flav’s character “bringing his old prison buddies by the house, teaching his nephew how to be a gangster rapper and clashing with Walter’s wife Ashley.” Over/under on the number of Flavor Of Love contestants making very special guest appearances on the show: Eight, with six of them showing up in the episode where he tries to do the whole School Of Rap thing. Isn’t this exactly the sort of thing the S1Ws are supposed to protect us against?
I liked this show when it was called “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”
Noone should be annoyed or upset about this, because it’ll be on MyNetworkTV, which means that nobody will ever see it.
I’d rather see a buddy cop show (a la Starsky and Hutch/Lethal Weapon) with him and Chuck D. Of course, Chuck would never whore himself out like that. Nonetheless, it’d be entertaining.
