From slinging gossip about boldfaced names to chronicling the inner workings of the biz, the ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced, newsroom-like environment and be savvy enough to see through both label-proffered spin and the “music industry must die” rhetoric popularized by the free-music-hoarding types. The job will be primarily devoted to newsgathering, but there will be opportunities to express your love of music crit. West Coast applicants encouraged to apply.
