Jay-Z is teaming up with Steve Stoute, who runs marketing company Translation Consultation And Brand Imaging, to start an ad agency "that will help marketers reach multicultural consumers" called (perhaps unsurprisingly) Translation Advertising. Stoute explained the genesis of the partnership as follows: "He left his day job at Def Jam; he has to do something."
