Idolator is looking for reporters to expand its coverage of the music world. From slinging gossip about boldfaced names to chronicling the inner workings of the biz, the ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced, newsroom-like environment and be savvy enough to see through both label-proffered spin and the “music industry must die” rhetoric popularized by the free-music-hoarding types. The job will be primarily devoted to newsgathering, but there will be opportunities to express your love of music crit. West Coast applicants encouraged to apply.

Send a couple of paragraphs about yourself and an explanation of why you want to work for Idolator–along with any links to clips and your Idolator commenter profile page link–to jobsATidolatorDOTcom. No résumés or attachments, please.
