  2. They played the infamous Tempe Music Festival two years ago, alongside such luminaries as Lit, Train, Vertical Horizon, G. Love and Special Sauce, and Gin Blossoms.

    Guess that wasn’t their original lineup, but who would’ve noticed?

    I always thought their Smooth Criminal was better than MJ’s. Also, one of like three songs from millennial alternative rock that I thought were worth anything. (See also: Kittie, “Brackish”)

    They had a new album 18 months ago (and it was only their third); is this a situation of the bass player coming back into the fold or something? If so, who cares?
