Get ready to be shocked: Kevin Shields told Coachella founder Paul Tollett that the band probably wouldn’t be ready by then. Apparently Shields and his associates will be all rehearsed by the time the Øya Festival in Norway rolls around–it’s in August–so who knows, those long-storied U.S. shows could someday happen, although I’m not going to start holding my breath over it until Shields steps on a stage.
