What about that collabo they were working on with DangerMouse and Ike Turner? I feel like the Black Keys are working on strange collaborations with my drunken father’s record collection, and I feel naive for anticipating it.

I used to defend Rod Stewart, thanks to the Faces and his 68-74 solo albums, which I still listen to while pensively mourning his downfall. After hearing a few Songbook tracks, I officially gave up.

This…might be a good idea? I’ve always loved Rod Stewart for adding some showmanship and sincerity to the ultra-loose, supremely crunchy line up of The Faces. Maybe the Black Keys would be a good foil…
