When I read the headline "Music Makes You Healthier," I wondered how bloggers, whose waking lives are more or less devoted to the stuff, could be so unhealthy until I then read this revelatory suggestion: "[Music] helped them lose weight by making exercise more fun." So you're saying that spending 10 hours a day on your ass eating frozen pizzas and trolling for MP3s isn't going to help? [NME]

  • As an ex Aerobicizer, I can confirm that group exercise is bad for your music taste. After a while, I stopped minding the Venga Boys.

  • I can't help but go back to the Rolling Stone interview with Perez Hilton from a couple months ago...they were with him at the Wynn in Vegas, and they documented his room service order:

"An Italian deli plate full of meat and cheese, a shrimp quesadilla, a tortellini meal, truffle mashed potatoes, a Coke and crème caramel for dessert."

I don't know why that fascinates me on so many levels. It just does
