AARP is celebrating its 50th anniversary by sponsoring Foreigner's Feels Like The First Time Tour, which will allow AARP members to get "priority seating" and meet the band during "exclusive VIP receptions." Unfortunately, the press release about the tour doesn't have any reactions from noted Foreigner fan Gene Simmons, but I'm sure that if he does get dragged to one of these shows he'll figure out a way to "go get a soda" during the inevitable encore of "I Want To Know What Love Is." I just called my mother (who saw Foreigner in CT about 3 months ago) to inform her. She promptly hung up on me.
Foreigner still rips. Or at least they did when I last "saw" them through the doors of the Silver Star Casino (Philadelphia, MS) auditorium around 1996.
This is the funniest thing I've read all year. I almost cried I laughed so hard.
