The warbly Amy Davis got kicked off American Idol last night despite the efforts of Vote For The Worst, who picked her as their female favorite earlier this week. (The site blamed server problems for their abortive effort to keep her in the Idol mix, but I think that her wobbly vocals were just too much to bear for even the most cynical Idol watcher.) But Davis has an alternate career path already: Bikini model! (The world can never get enough of those, right?)
Maxim dredged up her stint as a “Hometown Hottie” today, complete with bikini pictures, the revelation that Tom Cruise is her favorite actor, and her telling the magazine “I am a beauty with brains and a killer voice. I turn heads wherever I go, and keep them turned when I start singing.” Clearly, these claims were only fact-checked against her hottie shots, since the only direction my head wanted to turn when I heard her voice was toward a speaker blaring anything else.
