FIRST-LISTEN VERDICT: Technically this one hit the blogs after we had closed up shop last night, but it’s probably maybe kinda worth a shout out despite being, like, hours old, if only to hear tour bus BFF’s Mary and Jay tackling an awkwardly chill Swizz beat. Oh and to hear Jay refer to the duo as “Ms. No More Drama and Barack Obama.” (At least we think he’s comparing himself to good senator from Illinois; that could actually be Barry doing the background ad libs.) ‘Course Jay’s ego forces him to go one step further a few lines later by casting himself as Mr. Loaves and Fishes, posing like Jesus in Evisu, though he’s quick to point out he’s so much more.
