While I had been wondering who the white guy from the movie Barbershop is voting for, is this sort of campaigning actually helping? I sort of lazily climbed on the Obama bandwagon after my Edwards dreams were crushed, but the weird cult of personality that’s surrounding the guy is really starting to creep me out–and having the guy responsible for Fergie in his corner isn’t helping.

Hammer was on top once too, but then the weight of hubris brought him back down to size. But hey, he’s back with the all-dance-video site Dance Jam, so there’s at least some light at the end of the tunnel, pal. All the Obama fanatics I run into like to point out how the Arcade Fire is for Obama and Barbra Streisand is for Clinton, but can’t we at least say it’s a wash with Tina Fey being for Hillary and Will.I.Am being for Obama? I’ll take one “Bitch is the New Black” SNL clip over a thousand “Yes We Can” videos any day of the week.
