Can it be coincidence that the now Wenner-approved Leonard Cohen is embarking on his first trans Euro-Canadia tour in 15 years just days after "Hallelujah" suddenly found its way onto a billion high school iPods and just days after I was compelled by unseen forces to watch the entirety of Oliver Stone trainwreck Natural Born Killers (which utilizes Len's sunny bombtrack "The Future" alongside the hot alt hits of 1993) on Cinemax? Natural Born Killers may be a bit manic for some folks' tastes, but the soundtrack is amazing.
I doubt Cohen would be motivated by trifles such as these.
$250 I will not think twice about dropping.
@extracrispy: Ditto, the soundtrack will be long revered after Stone's "What I'm trying to say is that violence is everywhere! It's even in our breakfast cereals, man!" moral is forgotten.
It's a beautiful fucking trainwreck AND it features Tommy Lee Jones' best facial hair ever (Robert Downey Jr. is a bonus).
NBK? It did one thing: Rodney Dangerfield remains the most frightening villain in cinema history.
And where's the Leonard Cohen bio-pic? I vote Leonard Nimoy as the current Cohen ...
