Like any self-respecting white person, I enjoy anything from Japan. Thankfully, there’s the occasional Japanese act that lives up to my unreasonably high expectations. This time, it’s Love Psychedelico, two young women from somewhere with the word “prefecture” in its name, who are making digital pop in both English and Japanese, and hitting our shores next month.
To save you the trouble of trying to track down their Japanese releases on import, Hacktone Records is releasing a greatest hits album of sorts in the States on April 29th. The real upside, of course, is the ability to bring up an obscure act from another country to win the “Who enjoys more little known bands?” competition you have with your friends, using Love Psychedelico as the trump card.

And, yes, I am their publicist.
Delico (the band’s name in superfan shorthand) are, without a doubt my favorite group, which is why I can say with confidence that the two founding members are a man and a woman, rather than “two young women” as your article states.
Still, props for giving publicity to a band that more than deserves a huuuuge U.S. following.
@mervelousMEGUMI: Completely my fault. I still think two women is a better marketing angle, but what do I know?
