tetsuooooooo.jpgOkay, two Britney posts in one day is probably excessive, and yet I’d be slacking (more so) if I didn’t mention that her new video premieres tonight at 6:30 EST. On a Web site. And you can only watch it once. And only after you “discover and enter the correct two passwords” on that Web site. Which seems like a lot of work. But “the fully animated video was created in South Korea in anime/Japanimation style.” Which is admittedly pretty clever cover for Brit being permanently indisposed. Oh, and the passwords are “it’s really nice outside today” and “walking is a healthy activity we all can enjoy.” [BlackoutBall]

The “to be continued” screen at the end strikes me as a tacit admission that they may need to keep resorting to this gimmick a few moer times, as Brit may be indefinitely unavailable. And yes, I watched it all the way to the end, and I’d do it again. Maybe. Probably not.

I think we’ve gotta give props to JIVE for taking a really bad situation and coming up with something that is (moderately) entertaining.
